Barbara Lou Mowery, 89, formerly of Piqua, passed away Monday afternoon, June 1, 2026. She was born September 28, 1936, in Covington, to the late Charles and Mary Weber.

She will be missed and remembered by her daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Bauman of Troy; nine grandchildren; and was blessed with many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Lori Mowery of Piqua; and son-in-law Richard McInnis of Fla. Barb was preceded in death by three children, Brent Mowery, Jeffery Mowery and Dalana McInnis; and a sister, Bonnie Finfrock.

Barbara was a 1954 graduate of Covington High School and of the Catholic faith. She was a loan officer for Piqua National Bank and Fifth Third. She enjoyed performing with the Piqua Players and Fractured Follies at the Piqua Heritage Festival.

A visitation time to honor her life will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 5, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington.
