Betty Elifritz

Betty Elifritz Age 81, of Piqua, formerly of Covington, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born August 13, 1929, in Darke County, to her parents John O. & Elizabeth (Aukerman) Beard . She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Leroy Elifritz in May 1995; sisters Ruby Flora and Catherine Enterman, brother John Beard, Jr. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Karen & Michael Sommer of Troy, Sheryl & Forrest Craun of Bradford; son and daughter-in-law Steven & Jolene Elifritz of Debary, FL; grandchildren Nicholas & Keiko Elifritz, May Craun, Tiffany Craun; sister Lois Hebb. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 14, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High Street, Covington. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
