Carol Wise

Age 83, of Covington, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011, at her home. She was born September 21, 1927, in Tipp City, OH, to her parents Theodore ?Ted? Johnson & Anna (Bond) Johnson-Patty. Carol graduated from Newton High School Class of 1945 and worked alongside her husband John at Wise Gravel. She was a member of the St. John?s Lutheran Church. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband John Wise. She will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law Mary Ann & Larry Hensler of Covington; her son and daughter-in-law Timothy & Beth Wise of Logan, OH; grandchildren Emily May Wise and Andrew Theodore Wise; step sisters Thelma Miller of Pleasant Hill and Shirley Brubaker of Florida. Funeral services for Carol will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 20, at Jackson-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 1 S. Main St, Pleasant Hill. Pastor Stephen Nierman and Larry Powell will officiate with interment following at Highland Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice or St. John?s Lutheran Church, Covington.
