David Miller

David Allen Miller, 79, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his residence. He was born April 27, 1946, in Casstown, and adopted by Frank “Bud” M. Jr. and Martha Jane (Adams) Miller.

He loved and cherished his parents and both sides of his parents’ families. His family was the most important part of his life.

David was a 1964 graduate of Covington High School and earned his associate’s degree from Miami-Jacobs in 1966. He worked as a booking agent for the former Northwest Airlines in Cleveland and Tampa, Florida. In his younger years, David enjoyed gardening, landscaping and caring for his property and home.

David was always close to his family members, and is survived by several cousins, Steve (Vicki) Fourman, Scott (Pennie) Fourman, Jack (the late Susan Fourman) Draper, Rike (Alicia) Miller, and Tammy Wendeln and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 3, at Highland Cemetery, 7835 W. Ingle Rd., Covington, with Pastor John Shelton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or the Miami County Humane Society. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington.
