Dollie Hammond

Dollie Mae Hammond, 87, of Covington, formerly of Piqua and Morgan County, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Covington Care Center. She was born May 30, 1930, in Sunbright, Tenn., to the late Elmer and Esther Jennings. She married Frank Hammond; he preceded her in death.
Dollie will be missed and remembered by her children, Dereda Taylor of Piqua, Frank Hammond of Tenn., Loretta Delhaye of Portage, Ind., Glenn (Stephanie) Hammond of Portage, Ind., Delores Cook of Hobart, Ind., Don Hammond of Hobart, Ind., and John Hammond of Tenn.; 17 grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Kennedy.
Dollie was a homemaker and was a member of the Baptist faith.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Morgan County, Tennessee. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Sunbright, Tenn. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington. Online tributes may be left for her family at www.moorefh.com.
