Don Bowman

Don R. Bowman, 95, of Covington, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, at his residence. He was born May 4, 1926, in Miami County, to the late Howard and Ruth (Macy) Bowman. He married Betty A. (Manning) Bowman; she survives.

Don will also be missed and remembered by his son, Scott (Dawn) Bowman of Covington; four grandchildren, Christopher (Lorraine) Bowman, Marcie (Sean) Sexton, Christine (Nick) Swartz, and Lisa (Chad) Otis; and two great-grandchildren, Aubrey & Nicole Otis. He was preceded in death by siblings John Bowman, Howard Fasick, and Shirley Cress.

Don served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had owned and operated Web’s Auto Parts. He was a member of the V.F.W. #4235 of Covington and the Masonic Lodge in Troy, and formerly in Covington.

Private graveside services and burial will be held at Highland Cemetery, Covington, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice, P.O.
