Dorothy Beeman

BEEMAN, Dorothy Age 84 of Covington, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Covington Care Center. She was born April 22, 1926, in Covington to her parents Elmer & Estella (Fashner) Stump. Dorothy worked at Miami County Dairy, Beener's, and Maier's IGA. She attended the Covington Church of the Brethren, was a lifetime member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, Covington, and was an avid bingo player. She was preceded in death by her loving husband James Beeman; her parents; brother John Stump. She is survived by her children Gail & Charles T. Knouff of Houston, Mary Miller of Covington, Jim & Pam Beeman of Covington, Donald & Sharon Beeman of Piqua; grandchildren Christopher & Kelly Knouff of Anna, Craig & Teresa Knouff of Houston, Andrea & John Ziegler of Maria Stine, Timothy & Krista Knouff of Springdale, Ark, Mike & Amy Remley of Covington, Angela & Carl Smith of MI, Josh & Kari Beeman of Covington, Dane Beeman of Covington, Amanda Palsgrove of Troy, Emily Beeman of Bowling Green; 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; many extended family. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 14, at Highland Cemetery, Covington. Chaplain Ed Ellis will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or the Covington Care Center, Activities Department.
