ALLENBAUGH, Ellen
Age 86, of Covington, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Sterling House. She was born June 10, 1927, in Covington, Ohio, to her parents Harvey & Treva (Minnich) Franke. Ellen graduated from Covington High School. She worked at Wood Shovel & Tool as a traffic manager in Piqua, Hobart Manufacturing as an account payable supervisor, and later retired from Whirlpool. She was an active member of the Covington Church of the Brethren, the Miami County Farm Bureau, and the Piqua Antique Car Club. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and woodcrafting. Ellen was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Weisheit, her second husband Harold Allenbaugh, and her parents. She will be missed and remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law Vicki & Lawrence Snow of Bradford, Vivian & Terry Wackler of Bradford; step-children Sharon & Kenny Wetson of Piqua, Bob & Nancy Allenbaugh of Piqua, Steve & Brenda Allenbaugh of Piqua; grandchildren Brad & Amanda Wackler
of Bradford, Chad & Christy Wackler of Hilliard; step-grandchildren Amber & Dan Hinkle of Troy, April & Marty Grove of Piqua, Aaron & Nikki Watson of Piqua, Eric Allenbaugh of Piqua, Aaron Allenbaugh of Piqua, Tracie Allenbaugh of Columbus, Katherine Allenbaugh of Piqua, Michael Allenbaugh of Piqua; great grandchildren Brady Wackler of Bradford, Chase Wackler of Bradford, and Brooklyn Wackler of Hilliard; step-great grandchildren Dylan Hemm of Piqua, Adrian Hemm of Cincinnati, Austin Hemm of Columbus, McKenna Watson of Piqua; sister Esther Trost of Pleasant Hill; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 2, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High Street, Covington. Pastor Michael Yingst will officiate with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Covington
