Floyd V. Bilbrey Jr., 63, of Arcanum, passed away Friday morning, July 11, 2025, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, after a brief illness. He was born June 12, 1962, in Dayton, to the late Floyd V. Sr. and Lois O. (Johnson) Bilbrey. He married Connie (Jamison) Bilbrey on June 20, 1992; she survives.
He is also survived by his children Holly Bilbrey of Dayton, Amanda (Kody) Kitchen of Greenville and Michael (Tiffany) Bilbrey of Arcanum; two grandchildren, Ellie & Levi Bilbrey; a brother, Larry (Carol) Bilbrey of Crossville, Tenn.; a sister, Sheila (Malcolm) Farrant of Oak Harbor; many siblings-in-law, nieces and nephews; and his good friend, Dennis Bloomer of Donnelsville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nyla (Burch) Amburgey.
Floyd was a longtime employee of GTI, now Moriroku Technology of Greenville. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church of Arcanum. He loved fishing, and in the past was an avid bowler. He will be remembered as a kind hearted family man, a person that never knew a stranger.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 500 W. South St., Arcanum, with Pastor Greg Greve officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. Friends may visit with the family from 3-5 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington. Online condolences may be left for the Bilbrey family at moorefh.com.
