Hazel Wagoner

Hazel R. Wagoner, 90, of Covington, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017. She was born August 13, 1927, in Miami County, to the late Charles W. and Mary (Montgomery) Peters. She was united in marriage with Carl A. Wagoner on February 9, 1947, a marriage of over 70 years, and he survives.
Mrs. Wagoner will also be missed and remembered by three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy & Stan Landes of New Carlisle, Carla & Joe King of Pleasant Hill, and Lisa & Bart Hoblit of Arcanum; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Hazel was a homemaker and assisted in the family business for many years. She was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church-New Conference, Sugar Grove District.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 6360 W. Farrington Rd., Covington. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the church. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington.
