Jack L. Chambers, 86, of Piqua, passed away Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born January 30, 1939, in Covington, to the late Herbert and Helen (Bell) Chambers.
He was the father of three children, Christopher Chambers (deceased) and partner Ken Paschka of Cincinnati; Tammy (Joe) Chesnut of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Tina (Bruce) Rudy of Piqua; five grandchildren, Matthew Chesnut, Andrew Chesnut, Daniel (Colleen) Rudy, Lexie Chambers and Mannie Chambers; and one great-granddaughter, London Chesnut. In addition to his son, he was preceded in death by all his siblings.
Jack grew up outside Covington and worked many years as a truck driver for various companies. He loved riding motorcycles, and enjoyed his time eating breakfast with his buddies at Lighthouse by the Lock.
Private services for his family are being conducted through Moore Funeral Home, Covington. Private burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be left for the Chambers family at moorefh.com.
