Janet Filbrun

FILBRUN, Janet Mae Age 72, of Sidney, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Dorothy Love Nursing Center. Janet was born January 22, 1938, in Piqua, Oh, to her parents Feddie & Treva Mae Collins who preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Filbrun; children and their spouses David Allen & Amy Filbrun of Saline, MI, Sandra Mae & Peter Huelsebusch of Sidney, Linda Marie & Richard Deaton of New Madison, Oh, Debra Sue Filbrun of Sidney; grandchildren Amy Filbrun, Tricia Filbrun, Emily Filbrun, Rodney Deaton, Jason Deaton, Stephen Deaton, Jacob Deaton; 5 great grandchildren. Janet was a 1955 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She worked as a school teacher at Pathway Schools, Covington, and was a school bus driver for Miami East Schools. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, baking and fishing with her husband Kenny. The family would like to thank the staff at Wilson Hospice and Dorothy Love for the special care they gave to Janet during her stay. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, October 25, at Amos Chapel at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 3003 W. Cysco Rd, Sidney. The family will receive friends from 4:30-8:00 PM Sunday at Amos Chapel . If so desired, memorial contributinos may be made to Wilson Hospice or Dorothy Love.
