Jason Schwabenland

Jason D. Schwabenland, 54, of Minster, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 30, 1970, in Troy, to his parents David and Connie (Campbell) Oakes of Covington. He married Tia R. (Neitzelt) Schwabenland on September 10, 1994; she survives in Minster.

He will also be missed and remembered by his three daughters, Jordan (Jacob) Crisp of Sidney, Harley Schwabenland of Port Jefferson and Jade Schwabenland of Minster; five grandchildren, Kai, Autumn, Starlynn, Kinsley and Hudson; his siblings, Teresa (Ryan) Beougher of Piqua and Davey (Carey) Oakes of Miamisburg; his mother-in-law, Pamela Randall of Tipp City; and siblings-in-law, Michelle (Tony) Foust, Michael (Chrissie) Neitzelt and Tyler (Julie) Neitzelt.

Jason worked many years as a self-employed flooring installer. He was a very talented as a builder and also did remodeling work. He was a tinkerer and could fix just about anything. Jason also had a passion for making tie-dye t-shirts and enjoyed fishing.

A private family celebration of his life is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington. Online condolences may be left for his family at moorefh.com.
