Judith K. White, 84, formerly of Piqua, passed away early Friday morning, July 19, 2024, at Springmeade Health Center, Tipp City. She was born November 9, 1939, to the late Nathan and Estella (Exman) Christian of Pleasant Hill.
She will be missed and remembered by her daughters, Teresa Beasecker of Troy, Jody Boyles of Baltimore, MD; stepchildren Sharon Boysel, Lee Ann Ellsworth, Jim White and Sandra Sivert; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee White, her son Denis White, and great grandson Thomas White. Judy was the last surviving sibling from her family of 13 children, preceded in death by siblings Paul, Donald, Norvan and Bruce Christian, Eileen Helman, Vesta Pickering, Miriam Hartman, Ruth Jones, Wilma Shiverdecker, Alberta Cooper, Phyllis Lillicrap and Janice Beck.
Judy graduated from Newton High School where she was a member of the marching band. She retired after many years of work with NCR and Ledex. She had attended Upper Valley Community Church of Piqua. Judy enjoyed traveling, gardening, painting by number, attending church, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Rich Baker officiating. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Private graveside services and burial will be at later date in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. A special thank you to Springmeade Health Center and Hospice for their generous and attentive care to our loved one. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County.
