Judy Flory

Judith A. “Judy” Flory, 78, of Covington, passed away Monday morning, August 10, 2026, at her residence. She was born September 4, 1947, in Hancock County, to the late Howard and Alta McMaster. She married Marlin L. Flory on February 11, 1967; he survives.

She is also survived by her children, Dawn (Andrew) Sink of Covington, Darcy (Kip) Deaton of Covington and Jamie (Jeff) Fisher of St. Paris; nine grandchildren, Chase (Ashley) Lavy, Connor (Megan) Lavy, Nash Lavy (fiancée Jenna Victor) Canyon Sink, Piper Sink, McKell (Travis) Bowman, Teague (Abby) Deaton, Slava Deaton and Reese Fisher; eight great-grandchildren, Tucker, Oakley, Larkyn, Kollyns, Lincoln, Emmy, Lenny and Aspen; in-laws, L.D. (Sue) Flory of Pleasant Hill and Myrna Frantz of North Manchester, Ind.; and several step-siblings.

Judy was a longtime homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church-New Conference.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 6360 Farrington Rd., Covington. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington.
