Kenneth Peters

PETERS, Kenneth E., age 86, of Covington, passed away at his home on March 6, 2011. He was born on July 30, 1924, to Abraham and Mary Ann (Garber) Peters. Kenneth married Virginia C. (Flora) Peters and they celebrated 64 years of marriage together. Kenneth is survived by his wife Virginia; son Kent and wife Gail Peters of Greenville, daughter Kate Peters of Greensboro, N.C., son Kip and wife Dorcas Peters of Pleasant Hill, daughter Kolleen and husband Ralph Farnham of West Orange, N.J., son Keith and wife Becky Peters of Greenville, son Kraig and wife Mary Peters of Bradford, grandchildren Ian and Diane McAtee, Rachel and Jason Day, Katie and Chip Hartley, Michael and Jodie Peters, Joel and Susan Peters, Kally and Robert Diehl, Jennifer Peters, Kody and Anndrea Peters, Christina Farnham, Kyle Peters, Karoline and Doyne Flory, Nicolas Peters, Carley Peters, Juliana Farnham, Elijah Peters; great-grandchildren Garrett McAtee, Ryan McAtee, Ellie McAtee, Keagan Crosby, Seth McAtee, Hannah McKee, Renae Diehl, Layna Diehl, Molly Diehl, Nathanael Day, Liam Hartley, Sheldon Diehl, Logan Diehl, and Zoe Day. He was preceded in death by his parents Abraham and Mary Ann Peters, brother Clifford Peters, sister Ruth Eileen Flora, half-brother Clarence Peters and half-sister Salome (Sally) Pierce. Funeral services for Kenneth will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, at the Friendship Community Church, 5850 W. State Route 41, Covington. Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Covington. Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, March 8, from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High Street. Covington, Ohio. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or Friendship Community Church.
