Larry Swartz

Larry Lee Swartz, 68, of Piqua, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, at Ayden Healthcare of Piqua. He was born October 28, 1952, in Troy, to the late Kenny and Eunice (Johnston) Swartz.

Larry will be missed and remembered by his brother, Doug (Arlene) Swartz of Bradford; niece Brooke Swartz and nephew Michael Swartz; his aunt, Juneta Swartz; cousins Diane “Billie” Kennedy and Ron Swartz; and his longtime loving caregivers Janice Brittingham and daughter Jamie Brittingham. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant twin brother, Gary Swartz.

Larry worked for several years for RT Industries. He enjoyed attending church at The Sanctuary in Piqua. Larry liked to fish and loved all sports, having participated in bowling, basketball, baseball and track through Riverside.

A gathering to honor Larry’s life will be held from 4-6 p.m. Monday, September 27, at The Sanctuary, 8527 N. Co. Rd. 25-A, Piqua. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m., with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary.
