Lawrence Crist

Lawrence A. “Larry” Crist, 94, of Covington, passed away early Saturday morning, May 30, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 3, 1931, in Westphalia, Kansas, to the late Alva and Martha (Flory) Crist. He married Clara A. (Bowman) Crist on July 15, 1951; she survives.

He is also survived by his children, Linda Crist, Karen (Bob) Robbins, Ron (Gail) Crist, and Darlene (Randy) Coning; 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Crist retired from Crayex as the general manager, and was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church-New Conference, Sugar Grove District.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 6360 Farrington Rd., Covington. Friends may visit from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington.
