Leona Selby

Age 81, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at her home. She was born November 11, 1929, in Cerro Gordo, IL, to her parents Arthur & Marie (Wagoner) Metzger. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Selby and her parents. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Kenlynn & David ?D.A.? Peters of Wirtz, VA, Mary Ann & Dale Sink of Pleasant Hill; 7 grandchildren and their spouses Ryan & Donnelle Arrington of Rocky Mount, VA, David & Katie Peters of Glade Hill, VA, Matt & Suzanne Peters of Auburn, AL, Stephen & Heidi Sink of Covington, Chris & Stephany Mohler of Sawyer, KS, Michael & Beth Sink of Sawyer, KS, Kenton & Michelle Filbrun of West Alexandria, OH; 6 great-grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter; sister and brother-in-law Leora & Gilbert Wagoner of Rossville, IN; brother-in-law and spouse Melvin & Ruth Selby of CA; sisters-in-law Carla Selby of Twain Harte, CA, Barbara Metzger of OR. The family would like to thank Hospice of Miami County and all the friends and neighbors for the care and concern they showed to Leona during her illness. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, June 16, at Donnels Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 6562 Detrick-Jordan Pike, North Hampton, OH. Interment will follow at Myers Cemetery. Friends and family may gather from 3-5 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High St, Covington.
