Linda L. (Bowman) Brown, 69, of Troy, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 7, 2022 after her cancer battle with her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Dee, by her side. She was born on November 21, 1952 in Piqua, to the late Charles D. and Minnie E. Bowman.

She is survived by two sons, Carmen “Chris” (Becky) Dinardo Jr. of Casstown and David Alan Dinardo of Columbus; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Joe (Dee) Bowman of Troy and Jerry Bowman of Piqua; two sisters, Diana (Joby) Haines and Elizabeth (Jerry) Hereford, all of Troy; longtime partner Randy Skidmore of Greenville; good friend and cousin Phyllis Miller of Piqua; uncles Walter D. Larck and James Larck of Troy; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linda was employed by BASF in Greenville, where she made many good friendships while there. Thanks to Allison and Scott for being like family to her and giving her a job she looked forward to being at every day.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Brown of Bradford; sister Nancy Detrick of Troy; grandparents Walter & Bertha Larck of Troy and Lewis & Martha Bowman of Piqua; great-grandparents Harry & Minnie Persinger of Covington.

A very special thanks to her Hospice of Miami County care team, Heather, Jennifer, Kami, and Teresa, Crisis Care Team Cassie & Donna, and all the selfless hospice nurses and staff who helped care for her in the unit and at home. Also to sister-in-law Dee Bowman, who gave her all to keep her comfortable in the home during her illness; and Randy for being her original caregiver and always being ready to help with her care.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 12, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Chaplain Teresa McClennon and Pastor Greg Steinke officiating.
