Marcella Sunday

Marcella M. Sunday, 94, of Troy, made her transition on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Brookdale of Troy. She was born September 24, 1920, in Covington, to the late Clint and Doris (Christian) Miller. She married Rex W. Sunday of Antwerp, Ohio on May 15, 1941; he preceded her in death on May 17, 2011.

She is survived by her two children; son Larry Sunday of Marana, Ariz., daughter Linda (Ron) Moser of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Jamoom of Chicago, Ill. and Ronald J. (Liz) Moser Jr. of Hong Kong; and three great-grandchildren, George, Libby and TJ. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harry V. Miller, Carl J. Miller, Lester Miller, Roy C. Miller and Robert Miller; and two sisters, Margaret Wright and Hazel Griffin.

Marcella worked at Hobart Brothers Inc. during her younger years, and later as homemaker, raising and supporting her children and family. In addition, she lovingly supported her husband of 70 years, Rex.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, August 31, at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be from 1-1:45 p.m. Monday at Jackson-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 10 S.
