Marie Angle

Marie Ellen (Miller) Angle, 91 of Covington, Ohio, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 29, 2023 at her residence. She was born June 1, 1932 in Pendleton, Indiana, to the late Howard and Jennie (Stoner) Miller. On August 3, 1948, she was baptized into the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him all her life, joining the fellowship of believers of the Old German Baptist Brethren.

Marie was married to Paul Angle on November 26, 1950. To this union was born four children, Jeff (Connie), Connie (Marcus) Shively, Brenda Rapp, and Sandy (Randy) Brinkman. Surviving are her four children; 11 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Huntzinger of Pendleton, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Opal Angle of Peru, Ind., and her husband's twin, Pauline Beckner of Alamosa, Colo.

Mother enjoyed 35 years of making head coverings for many of the sisters of the church, being blessed by their fellowship. After a stroke left Mother a little slower, she gave up her driving privileges. A special family friend, Myrna, would drive her to many destinations. Mother, and us children, were Blessed by her love and kindness.

Her caregiver Lois Peters brought so much love and compassion as she tenderly cared for our Mother’s needs over this past year. She became like family to us all, to which we will be eternally grateful.

Mother was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a great-granddaughter, and five siblings.

We would also like to thank Hospice for all the care they provided, along with numerous others who stepped in from time to time to bless Mother and us!

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 6360 Farrington Rd., Covington. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Covington. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington.
