Michael Ingle

Michael Dean Ingle, 79, of Covington, passed away Sunday morning, May 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born August 11, 1945, in Piqua, to the late Harry Robert “Bob” and Bertha I. (Williams) Ingle. He married Vicki L. (Hahn) Ingle on October 28, 1967; she survives.

He will also be missed and remembered by his two daughters, Lisa (Brian) Cavender of Piqua and Krista (Timothy) Harris of Sidney; four grandchildren, Caleb & Kami Harris and Logan & Rachel Cavender; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings and in-laws, Richard & Dee Ingle, Janice & Fred Flory, Margaret & Lawrence Victor; and an infant daughter, Debra Sue Ingle.

Mike was a 1963 graduate of Covington High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the former Miller-Meteor of Piqua, and retired from Spinnaker Coating of Troy after 23 years. He enjoyed golf, fishing, playing cards, and attending his grandchildren’s activities as they were growing up. Mike was a tinkerer and a very handy man, and enjoyed working on his house and helping others with their projects.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Paul Hickernell officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, with military honors conducted by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
