BEEMAN, Phyllis J.
Age 91, of Covington, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Brookdale of Greenville. She was born September 30, 1923, in Covington to her parents David Ora Maurer & Cleo Fern (Sipple) Beackley. Phyllis graduated from Covington High School class of 1941 and worked at Beeman Hardware and P K Covington Lumber. She will be missed and remembered by her sons and daughter-in-law David & Doris Beeman of Covington, Charles "Chuck" Beeman of Covington; daughter and sons-in-law Kelly & Larry Lavy of Covington, Herb Gragg of Piqua; grandchildren Rick & Deanne Rhoades, Rochell Miller, September & Justin Grubb, Siler Beeman, Kristina Thompson, Kyle Lavy, Kip & Nikki Lavy, Kyra & Jeffery Tron; 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; special niece Paula “Jeannie”Cromer & Bob Reihs. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John Beeman; parents; daughter Carole Gragg; sisters Mary Ellen Cromer and Mildred Maurer. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 6, at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington. Pastor Ralph Schaafsma will officiate. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or State of the Heart Hospice.
