Age 92, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Sterling House of Piqua. He was born November 29, 1921, in Covington, Ohio, to his parents Cornelius Jonathon & Naomi Mae (Mohler) Flora. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years Grace Lucille (Knecht); daughter Martha Ellen Banks; two infant sons; siblings Woneda Sink, Hubert Flora, Paul Flora, Ann Bowman, Elda Flora, C. J. Flora, Buford Flora. He will be missed and remembered by his grandson Luke Alexander Banks; siblings Virginia Peters of Covington, Hollis & Charlotte Flora of Greenville, Wade & Violet Flora of Brazil, Etta Mae & Russell Garber of Greenville, Mildred & Marion Denlinger of Eaton, Thelma & Charles Garber of Greenville, Lucille & Keith Busse of Greenville; son-in-law Luke Kevin Banks of Cincinnati; sister-in-law Joann Flora of Indiana. Ray was a US Army Veteran who served in WWII. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 28, at Sugar Grove Cemetery, with Pastor John Shelton officiating.
