Rena Jacobs

Rena Dawn Jacobs, 52, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, July 31, 2026, at her residence. She was born September 17, 1973, in Austin, Texas, to Billy Carpenter of Texas and Janice (Hagenbeck) of Las Vegas, Nevada. She married Michael Lee Jacobs on July 22, 2011; he survives in Piqua.

She is also survived by her four children, Tabitha Haney of Tennessee, Brenden Haney of Greenville, Tylor Haney of Tennessee and Corie Haney of Kentucky; stepdaughter Brandy Jacobs of Greenville; six grandchildren; and her siblings, Sean Carpenter and Melissa Carpenter.

Rena worked in several local factories, and was a homemaker and mom to her children. She enjoyed crocheting and watching food and cooking shows.
