Rex Sunday

89, of Troy, OH made his transition on May 17, 2011 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH. He was born on May 13, 1922 in Antwerp, OH. He married Marcella Miller of Covington, OH on May 15, 1941. He is survived by his children: a son, Larry Sunday of Morton, IL and a daughter Linda (Ron) Moser of Fort Wayne, IN.; grandchildren: Sarah (Michael) Jamoom, Chicago, IL and Ronald J (Liz) Moser, Jr, Hong Kong; and great grandchildren - George, Libby and JT. He was preceded at his passing by parents N.A.G. Sunday and Katie Faye Lane Sunday, brothers: Robert M. Sunday, Harry B. Sunday, sisters: Isabelle (Langham) Sunday and Janette (Abe) Sunday. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran with service in the China-Burma-India Campaign. Upon his honorable discharge in 1946 he entered the family business - NAG Sunday and Sons Construction Co., Antwerp, OH and later became Superintendent for Heffner Construction Co, Celina, OH. He was a 60 year member of the American Legion as well as a member of the Avery Masonic Lodge. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 20, at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
