Robert Powell

Robert C. “Bob” Powell, 85, of Dayton, a longtime resident of Ripon, California, passed away Friday afternoon, May 23, 2025, at Greenbriar of Eaton. He was born January 1, 1940, in Dayton, to the late Harold “Bud” and Aurelia (Hentrich) Powell. He married Rita A. (Whitehead) Powell; she survives in West Alexandria.

Bob is also survived by his children, Julia Stamper of Centerville, Joanne Powell of Waynesville, Jeannette Campbell of Waynesville and Robert M. “Mike” Powell of West Alexandria; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Roger Powell of Los Angeles, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers. Mr. Powell worked in the banking industry in California for many years.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Highland Cemetery, 7835 Ingle Rd., Covington, with Pastor John Shelton officiating.
