Robert Smith Jr.

Robert Smith Jr., 76, of Covington, passed away Tuesday morning, May 6, 2025, at his residence. He was born April 4, 1949, in Dewitt, Kentucky, to the late Robert Sr. and Hazel (Epperson) Smith.

He will be missed and remembered by his four children, Gayle Wones (John Valentine) of Sidney, Corey (Sarah) Smith of Piqua, Jody (Phil) Ouellette of Covington and Jennifer (Scott) McDavid of Covington; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; siblings Sheila (Joel) Nunez of Indiana, Samantha (John) Hanselman of Piqua, Danny (Peggy) Smith of Troy, and Johnny (Angie) Smith of Troy; in-laws Joyce Smith, Debbie Smith and John Reedy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Clifford Smith, Larry Smith and Cookie Reedy.

Robert worked many years for the former Medalist Allen-A of Piqua and also as a delivery man. He enjoyed raising chickens and spending time with his dog June.
