Ruth Miller Lentz

Ruth N. Miller Lentz, 82, passed away peacefully and entered eternal rest with her heavenly father on Saturday, July 30, 2022, in McAllen, Texas. She was welcomed into heaven by those who preceded her in death; her husbands Norman Miller and Lowell Lentz; daughter Cindy Jacobs; parents Ernest and Frances Pargeon; brothers Donald, Bill and Robert Pargeon; and sisters Martha Dixon and Phyllis Wolfe.

Ruth was born on August 7, 1939, in New Straitsville, Ohio. She married Norman “Stormy” Miller in 1958, and they shared a beautiful life together for 42 years until his passing in December 2000. She later remarried Lowell Lentz, and they enjoyed many years together until he passed in 2016.

Ruth is survived by her children, Philip Miller of Covington, Jeff (Candy) Miller of Greenville, Todd (Sandy) Miller of McAllen, Texas, and Amy (Jeff) Flora of Clarksville, Tenn.; her sisters, JoAnn Windau of Carey and Judy Wright of Urbana; seven grandchildren, Michael, Jamie & Patricia Jacobs, Joshua & Tyler Miller, Heather Flora Riggins & Dustin Flora; and twelve great-grandchildren, Veronica, Valerie & Madilyn Riggins, Brandi Jacobs, Luna & Celeste Miller, Brooklynn Jacobs, Justin Davenport, Jason Luper, Audrey Pickering, and Christina & Nick Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor John Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Newcomer Cemetery near Painter Creek. Friends may visit from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.moorefh.com.
