Saundra Whitlow

Saundra L. Whitlow, 80, of Piqua, passed away Monday evening, March 20, 2023, at Ohio’s Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Troy. She was born September 7, 1942, in Newberry Township, to the late Nevin J. and Mildred P. “Sis” (Smith) Hill. She married Robert A. “Bob” Whitlow on September 16, 1960; he preceded her in death on April 13, 2021.

She will be missed and remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara (Scott) Pearson of Huber Heights; three grandchildren, April (Dustin) Clark, Crystal Hubbard and Rob Pearson; three great-grandchildren, Payton, Lucian & Maura; a sister, Peggy (Harry) Persinger of Troy; and a brother, Tom (Debra) Hill of Piqua. She was preceded in death by sisters Mary Veen and Cindy Thomas; and her daughter, Nancy Jo Whitlow.

Saundra was a self-employed caregiver for special needs adults and children for many years. She enjoyed attending First Baptist Church of Bradford.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Mark Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
