Thomas Ashburn

Thomas Dale Ashburn, 61, of West Milton, passed away Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born September 7, 1963, in Dayton, to the late Thurman and Rachel (Taylor) Ashburn. He married Debbie (Day) Ashburn; she preceded him in death in 1989.

He is survived by two sons, Daniel (Christina) Ashburn of Covington and Adam Ashburn of Florida; four grandchildren, Vanessa, Austin, Hadley & Lyla; two brothers, Ron (Sharon) Ashburn of Phillipsburg and Don (Janice) Ashburn of Union; and nephews and nieces, Ashley, Jesse, Andrea, Tara, Laura and Billy. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Gilreath.

Tom was a graduate of Northmont High School. He worked many years for the former Panasonic in Troy, later for D-Max, and retired from GTI of Greenville. He was an avid car nut and enjoyed Hot Wheels and collecting die cast model cars.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20 at Bethel Cemetery, 5801 Phillipsburg-Union Rd., Englewood. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held from 12-4 p.m. Friday, June 20, at the Covington Eagles Aerie #3998, 715 E. Broadway, Covington. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington.
