Tisha L. Morgan, 48, of Tipp City, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday afternoon, March 13, 2026, after a courageous and hardfought battle with cancer. She was born on March 25, 1977, in Piqua, Ohio, and was lovingly adopted by the late Bobby W. Hickman and Brenda Sue (Smith) Hickman.
Tisha will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, London and Lily Morgan of Tipp City, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her many siblings: Rhonda Hershey Maston, Judy Bunck, Patricia Bradley, Michael Scott, Joe Scott, Julie Martinez, Ray Wiley, Bambi Basinger, Cody Basinger, Kelly Bornhorst, Lori Clark, and Carl Drummer and their spouses. Preceded in death by her brothers James Hickman and John Hershey. She is further remembered by her special parents, Vivian and Carl Drummer, as well as countless friends whose lives she touched and who will forever cherish her memory.
Tisha was a graduate of Anna High School and Wright State University, where she proudly earned her bachelor’s degree in 2021. She was employed by Whirlpool in Greenville and also by Crooked Handle in Piqua, where she formed many meaningful friendships that lasted throughout her life.
A true free spirit, Tisha loved music, especially boy bands, with a particular fondness for 311, New Kids on the Block; in addition to all music of the 1990s. She enjoyed watching the television show Friends and was actively involved with Pink Ribbon Girls, reflecting her caring nature and desire to support others. Tisha will be best remembered for her infectious laughter, her love of dancing, and the joy she brought to family and friends simply by being herself.
A Celebration of Tisha’s Life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at The Valley Church, 916 N. Market St., Troy, with Pastor Jayden Groppi officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund to be established for her daughters. Arrangements are entrusted to Moore Funeral Home, Covington.
