Blake Adams

July 20, 1963 — July 4, 2018

Blake Lyle Adams, 54, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at his residence.  He was born July 20, 1963, in Troy, to Samuel L. and Jackie J. (Thompson) Adams.  His parents survive in Pleasant Hill.

Blake will also be missed and remembered by his two children, Tyanna (Karl) Ahrns of Versailles, Derek Adams (fiancée Brittany Maniaci) of Covington; seven grandchildren, Lydia, Averi, Emery, Laney, Kyler, Isaac, and Kasen; brothers Dirk (Amanda) Adams of Pleasant Hill, and Bryce Adams (fiancée Kait Stewart) of Pleasant Hill; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Blake attended Newton Schools and the Upper Valley JVS.  He was a self-employed auto body repair man and mechanic.  He enjoyed fishing and boating at Lake Cumberland, working on cars for others, and especially loved his dog, Jack.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to V.F.W. Post #4235 of Covington.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.moorefh.com.
