Gary L. Boothe, 70, of Covington, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Fort Hamilton Hospital, Hamilton. He was born November 28, 1950, in Roanoke, VA, to the late Archie L. Boothe and Frances G. (Peters) Boothe of Pleasant Hill. He married Helen L. (Sink) Boothe on March 25, 1972; she survives.

Gary will be missed and remembered by his children, Wesley (Megan) Boothe, Stephanie (Steve) Koble, and Eric (Mallory) Boothe, all of Covington, Bradley (Kelley) Boothe of Pleasant Hill; nine grandchildren, Connor Sindelir & Claira Boothe, Brooklynn (Brandon) Flora, Brittney & Dillon Koble, Joanna & Everett Boothe, and Kyah & Karis Boothe; a great-grandson, Bennett Flora; and his sister, Patricia Rhoades of Pleasant Hill.

Gary was a 1969 graduate of Newton High School, and worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for many years, retiring from the Ideal Company. He attended Vineyard Fellowship of Bradford, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, NASCAR and going to races, and mowing grass.

A private family graveside service and burial will be held at Highland Cemetery, Covington. A public visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Newton Field House, 201 Long St., Pleasant Hill. The family will receive friends and family informally in an open, socially-distanced space. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Branching Out at Vineyard Fellowship, 701 N. Miami St., Bradford, OH 45308. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington. Online condolences may be left for the Boothe family at www.moorefh.com.
