Marilyn Joan Riedel

Marilyn Joan Riedel, 91, of West Milton, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at her residence. She was born March 27, 1929, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Roscoe and Hazel (Winland) House. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Allen Riedel; her daughter, Malinda ‘Cindy’ Riedel; her great-grandson, Grant Fryman; and her sisters, Norma Burchfield and Donna Isley.

Joan will be missed and remembered by her son, Dean Riedel; her daughter, Linda Shultz; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Joan was a homemaker and a resident of Union Township for 68 years. She was a longtime member of the West Milton Church of the Brethren.

Private graveside services for her family and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. An open house visitation will be held at the home, 417 N.
